Sandhill Cranes ( part 2.. big post )

It didn't fly very far before it landed and I wondered what it was up to.... then I noticed he had a wife waiting patiently.



.... continued.

The first one sauntered over to the nest and greeted mom....



Without any spoken word the responsibility changed over....



Then it was time to make sure the egg was ok and the nest was tidy...



And the sitting begins..............



I'm going back over the course of the next few weeks to see if I'll get lucky enough to see the youngster.
