Biggest thing I caught was a cold.
Seriously though I've only caught pan size fish..... bass, bluegill, sunfish.

I do love walleye! I've never caught one though. Luckily those fishing with me shared.

I am a terrible fisherman. I like to fish but never get out on my 16' fishing boat.

The biggest fish we ever got was in Port Sanilac at the parents cottage. My best friend and I were there along with my wife for the weekend. About 11pm being pretty drunk I said we should do some smelt dipping. It was that time of the season so we walked down to the beach and the very first dip my wife netted a 5lb steelhead. :eek

A terrible fisherman is one who drops his pole(s) into the water.... or falls out of the boat.... or while sending out the hook gets someone standing nearby... or talks too loudly... you get the idea.

An unlucky fisherman just doesn't catch a damn thing while all those around him/her does!

I do believe you about the steelhead netted! I've heard other stories from those that smelt dip on what they caught. Pretty funny stuff.

Shame you don't get out on the boat. However, with the cost of gas this summer, you definitely weren't alone!

Call me sometime..... We'll go fishing! You, me, spouses. We need someone along to do all the work!
