ahh...SO why would Moonie want or need to put a sign up then? IS it different for bird hunting?

Perhaps she was using the word 'our' as meaning where she lives.... like 'our' street. It's not our street.... but all those who live on the same street would say our street.

I have a pond on my property.... It is MY pond. No one else can have access to it. Same as my whole acreage. I have NO TRESPASSING signs near the back and side and front to keep others out. If that doesn't work.... I do have guns.

am I missing something here, or is anyone allowed to come on to private land and hunt?

I'm talking about our backyard. It's swamp land. These guys are out in boats.

So they know when they're boating on the water above the lake bottom we own that I don't want them to hunt there. But they can. Legally. Cuz it's swampland.

Our lake (swamp) has many residents living on it's shores. If it was ALL ours I would definitely have signs up everywhere.

I think hunters should just have to use their hands to hunt. No side arms. No bow and arrows. No using their automobiles either. LOL!
