Or get a restraining order against him. Granted it won't help if he comes after you, but will make the cops very aware of just how much of a problem he actually is, and make the consequences of that happening far more real to the freak. If he does, that aforementioned knife would come in handy and the cops won't have as much of a problem with you using it. What a whacko!
