Right here tonight in San Antonio ... and I couldn't even be arsed to participate. Sad, huh? Paul is hanging on, I'm guessing, to make some kind of impact at the Republocrat-Red convention. I hope he does, but I really don't see the point right now.

He's hanging on for the same reasons the rest of the losers are. They absolutely know they aren't going to win, but the longer they hold out, the more they get in contributions... which they get to keep. So why would anyone drop out early? Unless the funds dried up and no one was donating anymore.

Then explain to me why a candidate who knows full well they aren't going to win, stays in the race.

Ron Paul is at the age where this isn't just some, "get your face out there for next time" thing.

If you recall, I asked the same question waaaaaaay back in the OP. I just don't think it's for the money. ... Unless it's to build a PAC.

That might be it. I remember on the news here they said Rick Perry couldn't have his contributions himself, but he could use it for his next run for governor or for a PAC.
