So, has anyone else noticed that the one person in the entire GOP Presidential race that Romney hasn't attacked has been Ron Paul? I'm thinking back across all of the debates that I've watched, and I haven't seen or heard a single attack against Dr. Paul, but he's viciously gone after everyone else.

Being the conspiracy theorist that I am, part of me wonders if this is a calculated move by the Romney camp. Why would it be a calculated move? Because part of me thinks that Romney would try and push to get Ron Paul as his VP candidate in an attempt to woo the Libertarian and Tea Party elements of the GOP, as well as more centrist Democrats and independents that are dissatisfied with Obama. Of course, it could be something as simple as him not seeing Paul as a threat or him having some sort of respect for him.

Carry on.

no way he would take Ron Paul as a running mate

for all the libertarian tea party types it would attract it would drive away more who are neocon far rights. They would just sit out the election

IMO

The only thing I have heard on Ron Paul is being associated with some racist stuff back in the 90's. I don't think it amounted to anything though.

Dose anyone here really think that Romney is actually going to beat the current president in the next election?

i dont think it would matter who he ran against...i honestly feel that the current system with all the electronic voting machines is fixed/rigged/broken....fucked up!

No, but the RNC convention is a big stage with a big microphone.

You're right. Look what it did for Palin.

Let's face it, both the Republicans and Democrats normally do nothing but look after their best interests, and play the American public for fools. That said, can you blame them with the population they govern?

Personally, I'd like to tell you what to do with them all, but tin foil hat on LOL

:D I think Paul and Palin have slightly different agendas. For starters, I'm pretty sure Paul has one.

Agreed. They've really got their propaganda machine tuned to perfection.

Hey didn't Romney lose to the guy(McCain) who lost to Obama? Doesn't make sense he is so popular.

He has the support of the GOP establishment, and hes buying his way to the nomination. The latest I heard about CPAC is that he won because his campaign sent a large number of people there. He ran a last minute advertisement blitz right before the Maine caucuses, and did the same in a number of other States. He can outspend everyone in the race because he's supported by massive corporate interests.

I have noticed that Romney doesn't give much attention to Ron Paul as well but probably because he doesn't see him as much of a threat. It would totally shock me if Romney were to ask Ron Paul to be his VP since it seems like most of the GOP's despise Ron Paul and will either attack him or ignore him.
