Guess What? Joe and I are going on a motorcycle trip Monday thru Wednesday to Highway to the Sun. It's thru Glacier Park-Highway 2. We are in WA state, near the ID border so we go thru northern ID which is about 35-40 miles to Montana then it's about I don't now 60 miles thru the park it's gonna be awesome!!!!

My girlfriend and her hubby are like grandparents to my two hyper papillion dogs. Really, they run all over their fenced yard, get spoiled rotten and love it there so luckily they can take them.

The three cats well are cats, and though the new kitten will probably tear the house apart-it is only three days so it should be left standing ;)

I am soooo looking forward to this. Joe has been in such a depressed mood-hell it's been a shitty year for me too, losing my step mom, dad, two cats, gaining weight, drinking too much, not working on the property because we spent the money we planned to on Evan's car and this and that.

A road trip is just what we need.

Here's a link for anyone interested.

Well I went shopping and got some real cute tops and shorts. We also got some more bags for the bike. We decided to just wing it as far as motels are concerned. It being labor day most people will be coming home so I don't think we will have a problem. I'm getting excited. Joe is taking the two doggies to my girlfriends tonite and I'm packing. I'm so glad we are doing this. Joe has been so depressed lately and I've been rather blah myself. This will be good for ourself. I'll tell u all about it Thursday. rock on u all

Well we had a great time. Joe is very red, I got somewhat red. We used sunblock 70. We ended up renting a room w/a jacuzzi and we were so burned we put in lukewarm water and shampoo to take off the sunblock. Well the dirt flew up and stuck to our legs with the lotion and you should have seen the black bubble in the tub....YUK......But damn it felt good.

The mountain waters were gorgeous, so clear. We saw some mountain goats, no bear. We almost hit a family of wild turkeys crossing the highway going 70 mph but luckily noone was behind us and we were able to slow to 45 mph and get thru them w/o hitting any of them and/or spilling!

We left early Wednesday and on the way back there's lots of mountains about 70 some miles I asked if we could stop for coffee. I knew Joe was cold and I was cuddling up to him as much as I could wrapping my legs and arms around him. When we stopped I started shivering uncontrollably. We realized going 70+ mph and it being 40 degrees the windchill factor IT WAS FRICKING COLD!!!. After drinking coffee we warmed up, got out of the mountains and trees and finally we started stripping and hit 100 degrees! LOL.

We saw such beautiful scenery. And had such a great time. After two days my right thigh still is a little sore. It's not a big bike. We learned A) bring the freaking motorcycle glove we already own morons. B) get some chaps that damn exhaust pipe get damn hot after 6 hours on Hart's right leg, C) Hart learn to shift from leg to leg more often as it will pay.

We plan to do more road trips.
