Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011)

I just finished watching this on blu ray, and I really liked it! I think James Franco is a decent actor, and I enjoyed the re-boot of this first installment of the series. I'll always love the original, but this one felt less campy.

It was kinda silly. I like James Franco, too. It wasn't a bad movie at all. I mostly enjoyed making Draco Malfoy references my boyfriend didn't understand.

The original creeps me out, but I really enjoyed the remake. Saw it about a week ago. I know this sounds strange, but I really felt sorry for the dad. I forgot his name, he was the one with Alzheimers.

John Lithgow was the actor, and I agree. I felt bad too. Alzheimers is a terrible disease.

I saw "The conquer of the Planets of the Apes" and I thought to myself that is exactly what "Rise..." is going to be like, except the funny ape masks. To a point I was mostly right, though they had a different script :24:
