RIP........ The Bird

Mark Fidrych aka The Bird died working at his farm. For one glorious year he captivated Detroit and all of baseball. I went to several of his games. This guy did not even start the season on the team yet still won 19 games and started the all star game. The next year he hurt is knee and came back too early and it caused him to compensate and he ruined his arm and pitched only a little after. What an amazing guy.

Rest in peace big fella.
