It's unclear whether the amounts found in rice would have any health impact, but high enough levels over time could lead to several types of cancer.
The problem begins with where rice grows, in wet fields.
That makes it easier for rice to absorb arsenic that occurs naturally in soil.
Recent investigations have found the toxin arsenic in rice and apple juice.
Consumer Reports published results of their tests of 88 samples of apple and grape juices. Nine samples had more arsenic than the federal government allows in drinking water.
I have been trying to eat more rice. Everything is going to kill you sooner or later so you may as well enjoy it. Just got some fried rice seasoning last week. Love the stuff as well as the yellow rice.
I just ate a fuckton of chicken and rice. I measured it out, 2 shittons = 1 fuckton

What get's me about this story is they already knew this in 2009 minimum.. And it's not only Rice they discovered it in but also Apples that have arsenic in their seeds that was found in the urine of people who drank apple juice..
There are many other food who have arsenic in them from natural sources.. Not to mention fish with mercury and other toxins..
I guess the key is to buy as natural or organic as possible.
What is it that you will buy organically or naturally as possible ?
[h=3]WHAT IS GOOD ABOUT ORGANIC FOOD[/h] IT'S MORE HUMANE.
Much of the country's organic milk and meat comes from small farms, where animals are often given more space to roam than those at larger factory farms.
IT MAY REDUCE YOUR RISK OF GETTING MAD COW.
Organic meat can't have any animal by-products in its feed, which is a primary contributor to mad-cow disease.
IT'S GETTING EASIER.
Companies like Kellogg's and Kraft are rolling out organic versions of their cereals and mac and cheese, so it's hassle-free to convince kids and boyfriends to eat it. And with discount superchains like Wal-Mart (the country's number-one seller of organic milk) slashing the organic markup to 10 percent (it's usually 20 to 30 percent), organics aren't just for the Whole Foods elite.
HOW "ORGANIC" IS IT?
Products labeled "organic" must consist of 95 percent organically produced ingredients, but products that contain only 70 percent organic ingredients can use the phrase "Made with organic ingredients." Read carefully.
Not just rice but if you get back to natural and organic food, there is greater chance that they carry these things.
:24: this is true. The Japanese eat a lot of rice, don't they? I guess now we know it's so dangerous that would explain why so many Japanese people drop dead when the're about 102 years old.:sarcasm
