you tell me im not good enough
you disregard the light
the unforgiving pain endured
salvation's not in sight

never fixing what is broken now
and healing broken hearts
not remembering all the loved ones lost
and families torn apart

remorse is hard to come by
in this cold and heartless world
i fail to reverse the path of time
stop tragedies unfurled

beside myself i stand here now
im feeling overwhelmed
for my pathetic efforts thrown
to a fucking shadow realm

suspicions, hopes, and memories
all rampant in my mind
you throw them back into my face
theyre leaving me so blind

will nothing come together here
will all of it fall through
shattered, cold, alone tonight
and all because of you

im nearly dead, upon the ground
with one thing that you lack
an evil, twisted, blackened heart
thats hellbent on payback

to elude the final blow
the devils grin across my face
i slowly say "hell no."

your final shriek has filled the air
that day has come to pass
when i reflect upon my life
i see you and simply laugh.

as you can tell, i was very angry when i wrote this. strangely, i wasnt angry at anything in particular...just...angry.

The feeling comes all to famiilar to me, and now that Ive read the whole thing im loving it! I often wake up feeling angry its wiered, but I know how you mean.
