I was just in a brief class about this....don't ramble on about a bunch of bullshit that you've done...only put things that compliment the position your going for...I have a book if I can find it I'll scan the section

When forming a resumee...what type of information would u guys recommend having on there...is it best to have one resumee you hand in with all applications or is it best to start from scratch and personalize it to each business?

i agree you gotta customize to which jobs you are applying for. give the most relivent facts and skills, it is always good to also add that you are a team worker but also excell in a independent work enviroment. post up what you have so far and what type of job you are applying for

It's best to tailor it to each specific job if you can. Put the information on it that you know the specific employer is looking for. But its also a good idea to have a general 'all purpose' resume for posting purposes.

At the same time, always have a general knowledge of the company in which you are applying with and do some research on them. In an interview, when they ask if you have any questions, ask them about their company. It shows that you care that you have an interest.

you have to get your resume to stand out as more and more companies use those bs programs to weed thur them
