I felt a sense of melancholy watching news clips of the few survivors at the Pearl Harbor Memorial, today. The hero generation is passing. They came of age during a time of crisis. What a generation!

I don't think the sheer volume of the attacks can be comprehended and its repercussions in pulling the US and the allied effort in the war.

Today I choose remember a man who preached a message of peace and love...sorry if that offends some.

Thanks to all who sacrificed so much, because I'm grateful I'm speaking English instead of Japanese or German right now. If it weren't for you, our nation would not be free.

We couldn't reason with the Japanese government or Hitler. They were not interested in peace. So to those who think we somehow could've survived without fighting back with military force, wake up and smell reality!
