As a veteran, I feel strongly about the great job U.S. troops have been doing in a extremely difficult situation. Thank you President Bush for creating the challenge that has adversely effected hundreds of thousands of people and tens of thousands of U.S. military families. Now that the Iraq War has been going strong for over 5 years I thought I'd ask...
Q1-Who believes the U.S. invaded Iraq because:
A. We were attacked by Al-Qaeda and Iraq was responsible?
B. Saddam possessed WMD (weapons of mass destruction) and possessed an imminent threat to the U.S.?
C. Saddam was a bad man who oppressed his people?
D. Iraq represented a nest of anti-U.S. terrorists, namely Al-Qaeda?
E. The Neocons who controlled the U.S. Administration felt we could take over a Middle Eastern country, transform it into a friendly strategic democracy along with a source of oil, and make lots of money for their friends in the process?

Q2-Who believes regarding intelligence:
A. Accurate intelligence was presented to the U.S. people as a justification for an offensive pre-emptive war?
B. Intelligence was cooked, contrary intelligence was suppressed to sell the war to the U.S. people?
C. Other (please explain)
Q3- Because of the war, Americans are:
A. More Safe
B. Less Safe.
C. About the same as before the war.
I am not proud of this but sadly I choose E. for the first question and B for the second, and B for the 3rd. I'm one of the many who think the Bush Administration has been a disaster for many reasons, the Iraq War is just one of them.
