Watched a new movie (to me) Red State. Different. Mind you. I like different. Movies like Pulp Fiction and Fargo I liked well enuf to buy. Red State I think I liked.... How to explain....in a nutshell. Three teenage boys were going to meet a 38 year old woman one had contacted via the internet to have sex w/her. They got to her trailer, she had them drink two beers each to get in the mood. The beers are drugged and they are taken to a cult/church and bound and prayed over and another guy who is a homosexual is bound/and shot.
A lot happens, the ATF or another government agency gets involved, there is much shooting, devil/condemnation about homosexuals, it is a trip. John Goodman is in it and very good, the Preacher is very good in it and I liked it, my hubby liked it-not for the squeamish and if you like happy, everything resolved ending not for you either, but definitely not boring.
