Re-makes.

When movies reach a point they re-make TV shows that is like a low ebb. What is the best film remake of a TV series?

Here is my first item on the list but I wouldn't say it is the best
The Karate Kid 2010 (I hated the first one because of Ralph Macchio got on my nerves.

I can't think of many off the top of my head...but I was a fan of 21 Jumpstreet.

Then you've got things like Buffy the Vampire Slayer which was a MUCH better TV series than movie.

I think MASH was the best example of a movie that made a great show..

I think its hard to say because it really comes down to the staff that put both together..

There are many movies that could make great shows and great shows that made fantastic movies Star Trek as an example.

Heck they even made one from a video game... Sorry but Tron was the first...

Good question but difficult to think of an answer. Buffy the vampire slayer was definitely better than the movie, but then that's because Joss Whelon was involved. Havent seen the starsky and hutch film, was that any good?

I like the first addams family film, the sequel wasn't all that good

The Fugitive was excellent! I think The Tranformers movies were pretty good too.
