I wasn't ready for this shot because I was facing another direction. Then I heard some racket behind me and was able to fire off one quick shot which as you can see didn't turn out very well. I have been fighting for years to get one coming directly at me and I missed it.

Ok I give. I know they are CA Geese.. Are those called geese blinds

On a side note I went duck hunting years ago. I heard this loud ass noise and could not figure the direction. Them ducks are noisy flyers. I missed the friggin shot.

He was probably doing 50kmph when he flew 10' over my head. The sound of the wind over his wings was impressive.

It's still a pretty good photo, even if it's not perfect I think you could crop the left side in to meet his wing like the right side is, that might work.

I thought about that when I first viewed the shot but decided not to. There's too many other issues that I have with the shot that don't warrant any real effort. The lack of space on the right side is one, the light is another as is the focus to name a few.
