The Guardian features some placards for promoting moderate beliefs:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2010/oct/29/jon-stewart-rally-placards

  1. I disagree with you but I'm pretty sure you're not Hitler
  2. And the rest come from various web sources:
  3. Even God gave it a rest for one day – tone it down America
  4. [Picture of Uncle Sam] I Want YOU – to switch to decaf
  5. Protest signs are an ineffectual means of communicating my nuanced views on a variety of issues that cannot be reduced to a simple pithy slogan
  6. God hates signs
  7. If Ms O'Donnell is really me, then she masturbates daily (sometimes twice)
  8. You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own spelling
  9. Want to live in a place with no government? Try Somalia
  10. Think outside the Fox
  11. I won't call you a Nazi if you won't call me a Commie. Let's agree that 1930s totalitarian doctrines don't have to be our only options here

It was an excuse for hipsters to get together and do nothing. Even John Stewart admitted on the stage that he didn't know why they were even there.
