Raleigh — New numbers out Tuesday showed Raleigh water customers have a four-month supply remaining.
City leaders detailed the drought at a meeting of the Droiught Management Advisory Council. The good news was the restrictions are helping. The bad news was that water levels continue to drop.

I sure am glad I got out of dodge. Everyone turned their noses up when the city planners put Raleigh on water restrictions well before the drought was in full force but at least now they have a little more water...
I remember a few years back we were in the same situation there, they told us it would take 4 years before we would recover. Then we had like 2 weeks of straight rain and all of a sudden we were back to normal. Something is different this year though, they are just not getting rain, even with the hurricane that was off the coast a few weeks ago.
