Weird question, but do the purple folders on your bookshelf contain maxi files of kings and queens of Great Britain? Cos I have a purple folder that looks identical and I got it after my mum subscribed to some History thing and I got Maxi Cards to go in the folder (I was like 8 so I can't really remember the details) but I never got the entire set.

I know chimpanzees and lionesses have periods. I thought that most female mammals have some type of period though how often will depend on the species. Sometimes animal periods aren't bloody or what we'd think to be periods.

I've never met anyone else who got them but then I was young and it wasn't the type of thing my peers were interested in. I've only got one folder and so there are massive gaps. I remember I got a replica Elizabethan coin as well

Last year around this time we brought home an abandoned 8 year old corgy....We already have a dog so I wasn't sre we'd keep her, if not we'd at the very least find her a good home elsewhere. One day just after we had taken the both dogs for a walk we noticed blood on the floor AND on her paws. Of course I thought that she hurt her paw somehow on the walk so I got a warm rag and began wiping them off to see if I could see any cuts, but there was nothing. It was the weekend so we put up with this until monday evening after work when we gathered her up and took her to the vet.( of course all weekend we nursed her paws, even made a trip to the pharmacy to buy some gauze to bandage her up) anyway...lol.. First I explained to the woman what was going on and she said to bring her in to see her. When we arrived the doctor put her right up on the table and started to check her paws first thing, but like me, she couldn't see any visible marks. she did notice however the blood dropping from her bottom. That's when she told us that there was nothing wrong with the dogs paws, she was in heat ..I guess on the day that we originally noticed the blood, she had walked through it and that's how we came to that brilliant conclusion....lmbo....I was so embarrassed.

I thought they'd have some form of menstruation cycle but wasn't sure they actually dripped blood. Learn something new! I've never had a female pet until now but my bunny will have had her womb cut out before any periods come. If indeed rabbits bleed at all :/

OMG, a dog in heat is THE WORST!!! We had Shadow fixed after just 1 heat cycle. They do bleed, but it's not that heavy...it's drips here and there.
