Yes it is, but there is no way for me to post that version. Hopefully the 12 min intro will spark an interest for people to see what we are really up against. I'll have to read the book you posted later, tonight is family movie night.

If you honestly believe that there is a liberal media bias, please go look at that study that was done... It will take you quite a while to read through it all, but all the raw data is posted and it's all sourced.

The myth of liberal media bias has been perpetuated far to long without any data backing it up. It's one of those things that people believe because they have heard it repeated over and over... yet know one ever takes the time to look at the facts.

Tim, I believe there is extreme liberal bias when it comes to this issue. I believe there is extreme conservative bias when it comes to other issues. So I think you may have misunderstood 'exactly' where I was coming from.

Mori, I wrote the tag line in my opening post. That is my opinion. That is not from the documentary.

I'd like to hear how you found it enlightening Tim since you are one among very few that probably has seen this documentary?

Each weekday, 2570.25 hours of conservative talk are broadcast on the radio. Only 254 hours of Progressive talk. That's a 10 to 1 ratio, so you really can't blame the "Liberal" media.

Yes, and if you want bias then look no further than that documentary.



There is no media bias. The media will report on whatever sells. They are in a ratings system, that means viewers are more important than the actual news.

AEF, from your comments it is obvious you didn't watch the documentary, so you don't know. The documentary shows news broad casts of other countries. The people commenting are from the region they are commenting on. Experts in the field that are 10x more educated on the subject than you or I and 4x the amount of life experience - their research and wisdom is worth listening to. It isn't twisted hype, like say a Micheal Moore mockumentary is.

btw, Tim, I was able to read some of the 1st article you posted. There is some good info in there. I'm thinking about doing a pro/con research paper on media bias after digging into all of this stuff. Mind if I use the link you provided?

No, no I actually did watch it. There is no doubt that the Muslims represented are bad dudes, but it seems like they are stereotyping all Muslims as well.

i think it'd be a perfectly interesting documentary. it's not going to change my mind on anything, i know there are crazy muslims out there that want to fly planes into buildings for allah. this isn't the first time i've seen a bunch of mideastern people chanting death to america.

But for some people it is Mori. For some people they do not realize that children are raised to hate any non-Muslim state/country, that their leaders sound like maniacs up their declaring that they will take over Britian, the US, etc., that if we do not take the war to them, they WILL continue to bring it to us when we least expect it on our civilians and not on our military who are trained to deal with them.

It may be, but it should not stop history from being seen.

I live in a country that lets me practice my faith, that lets Muslims practice their faith, that lets Buddist practice their faith. What I am concerned about is radical muslims that do not want anyone to practice any other faith beside their faith. Faith is a personal choice. Radical muslims take that personal choice from you. I do not want that intolerance spreading from country to country. They do.
