I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here but my camera flash is very very fussy. I took some pictures at a friends house last night and there weren't a lot of lights on so the flash was necessary. Sometimes though, it just refuses to take a picture. It either says it's busy (which apparently means it's recharging, which I can understand) or it just sort of pre-flashes several times but won't actually take the picture, and it doesn't tell me why.
It also doesn't seem to make any difference what the light conditions are - some work fine and then two minutes later won't take, and vice versa.
I'm only using the flash that came built into the camera, is the problem that I need a bigger one attached or something? It's a Canon 100D.
