Pumpkin Photography Contest 2012 ?

Ok it's close to that time of year when Pumpkins will get a make over..

Should we have a Contests for the best looking Pumpkin of 2012 ?

I am willing to throw in 100,000 tokenz of my own..

I only ask that each contestant submit one entry per poster of a real pumpkin and that you minimize photoshopping to the very least and NONE of the photoshopping of the Pumpkin itself..

Any other rules anyone would like to throw in ?

What do you all think ?

This will give you about 3 1/2 weeks to get this done, which should be far way enough time..

Everyone in the Forum will vote on the Pumpkins..

This really has nothing to do with the camera so it has a lot more to do with your carving skills..

Not picking on you Jersey but I highlighted the last sentence of my OP and the last 3 words..

We did this last year and I think people had some fun w/ it. I might enter, but I need to figure out if I'm going to have time to carve something or not first, LOL

I think she means there are lots of ways to decorate a pumpkin.... does it have to be carved?

If you want to draw on it or add any creative crafts of course you can..

You must decorate the pumpkin itself and take a picture to show up your piece of art.

The only exception is to use photoshopping ( any photo editing program ) of any kind on it..

I'm in but I think templates / stencils should be a no no. I'd like to see either something original or a design copied free hand atleast.

While I might agree with you, how would we enforce not using stencils from afar ?

One could easily draw lightly and slightly alter a stencil after the use.

I think it will be up to voters to decide of the pumpkin was original enough.

Besides who will be the judge of someone using a stencil and someone doing a great work of art without ?
