Proof that prayer doesn't work

I heard a comedian say many Christians do most their praying on Sundays. He thinks that's inconsiderate considering Sunday is God's day off.

I doubt God hears our prayers these days...

...not with the iPods being on sale this month. :jk

Still, I respect people's views on God because there are aspects that I do believe in such as peace, helping your fellow "man", and forgiveness.

I wonder who will be getting his job in Heavenly Accounting? I hear that Saint Peter is due for a promotion soon. :D
peter declined. said he was content keeping the gates. he recommended they give the promotion to gabriel but he's locked in his room practising his music and nobody can get him to shut up long enough to accept or decline the offer. it's been an awful mess since god walked out. it happened right after he gave his instructions to moses at sinai and nobody has heard from him since.

been some godawful shit go down since then every time somebody gets born without enough blockage on their higher senses. they start doing miracles and shit and the authorities go nuts. look what they did to that jesus character when he started healing and feeding people for free. can't have that kind of shit going on in their empires.

This event is good grounds to question the wisdom of God imo. Accept the believers will tell me I have no right to question God and its mysterious wisdom.

The Believers are merely defending the "good" name of their God. Which is fine by me. We must accept all beliefs that lead to peace and that do not harm the individual nor the masses. I would merely tell them that religion, ideas, thoughts, speech, and actions are meant to be free. As in most biblical texts...one can merely say that God, Allah, or the Gods themselves gave us the right to think freely to begin with. Not even the believers could argue that one for it is written most religious texts.
