Professional Attitude?

I have one of the most frustrating jobs in the universe. This job is seriously hurting my soul. I cringe when I have to go in. I scream freedom when I get to leave. I deal with people treating me like a child. They micro manage you to death. I have to let a supervisor or WFM(Work Force Management) know when I go take a piss. I don't even ask my own mother to piss! The customers are ignorant, fraudulent or just looking to get their credit checked. I'm a sales rep for US Cellular. Time is money. I spend 20 minutes gathering information and fitting people into the most cost effective plans and phones to meet their needs. Only to have them hang up as soon as I tell them their deposite. Sometimes they don't even have a deposite. They just wanted you to do all the work so when they go to the store, it wont take as long. I've been called numerous racial slurs for simply following procedure. IM A DAMN PERSON TOO! I'm a sales rep, if I cant help you, its not cause I don't WANT to, Its because I cant! Sales reps don't like to turn anyone down! THAT'S MY MONEY!!! The sales reps are the only ones held to their daily duties. Other departments slack off. They don't ship your customer's phones on time, so you end up having to tell the customer your sorry, but the warehouse didn't invoice your order. It is going to be another 3-5 days to get the phone to you! Our pay is constantly dropping. My work load is constantly growing. I have no vehicle, so looking for a different job is hard. I'm stuck and I feel like I'm being punked. My supervisor told me, when you feel that way you should remember professionalism. I'm about to show these guys how professional I can be at busting heads with a lead pipe. Sorry to vent, I'm just frustrated and needed to see it in text.:mad

sounds like youre in the wrong industry ive worked in call centers before and it takes a LOT of patience customers just suck in general.

Just get one of those stress relief toys that you are supposed to squeeze everytime you feel stressed. Take a black marker and write the name of your supervisor on it's forehead. Then when he comes over and starts getting on your shit, pick it up and start squeezing the living shit out of it while staring into your supervisors eyes. He'll get the message real quick...
