Problem associating my image files with CS5

I try to choose CS5 with the Open With option but it won't choose the program

Do you mean the program isnt in the list? or do you mean you cant find the exe for CS5? Im assuming its an image file?

open CS5 first, then do a file open and browse for your file, next time you should be able to do an "open with" as you have just formed a relationship with the file and the program.

You have to browse to open it with a program

Open With>Choose Default Program>Browse>File Name (You should then start searching at the Adobe folder, then CS5)

i did it still wouldnt associate my image files with it. I did a laptop recovery last night. I was up til 4am.
