Ok, so over the last couple of days folders have been appearing in my C:, they all have long nonsensical names, and it WON'T LET ME OPEN THEM to see what's inside, should I be worried about this? The folders are named:

Yeah I'm too scared of the potential consequences of deleting them, it could actually be something IMPORTANT.

Usually important files have non rubbish names. You could always delete them and if it bothers your computer you could do a system restore back to before you deleted them. That's what i would do.

I've NEVER done a backup on my computer, all I could do is a complete restore and if I did that I'd lose EVERYTHING :(

If you have good virus and malware software it should deal with it if it needs to be dealt with.

you can restore you computer to an earlier time instead of reformatting it. What operating system are you using?

No I can't restore to an earlier time because I've never set any restore dates, and my computer isn't set to do it automatically, I can only do a complete restore on it.

I still cant get over that your computer is clean enough that u notice new folders. :eekMines packed full o' junk.

It's not clean at all, There are like a million different folders, subfolders, subsubfolders everywhere, but I personally put all the folders where they are, I notice when something is there that doesn't belong.
