* I recently gave up my career of 13 years to move to Massachusetts and start over at the bottom of the totem pole.
* I've known I didn't want kids since I was 12 years olds. I love kids, however.
* I have a great niece or nephew on the way. Yes, it makes me feel old.
* I got out of New Orleans 36 hours before the levies broke...only b/c my mom forced me to leave. I wanted to stay.
* I often remain friends with people who are outcast by others. My contact list contains several police officers who were encouraged to resign, former co-workers who were outright fired, and so on. I've made stupid mistakes before and know how much it hurts to be outcast for it, so I don't give up on my friends easily.
