Thankfully I never experienced depression. I am thankful to God for giving me a strong spirit. I also have a good relationship with my Father God. Stay away from depression through prayers. God hears and never fails.

The question is can be remain positive, or repeat the affirmations when you are depressed. depression is a condition where you are very sad and lonely.
