How much porn is too much porn? If that makes sense. If your significant other looks at porn, when do you think that they are addicted?

When that's all they want to do maybe? When they start skipping family time, etc to be able to spend more time surfing porn?

Those for me would be too much.

If them spending so much time on porn is making your sex life suffer then it's too much.

:withstupid: Thats basically the reason I asked. I told my husband that I didnt care one way or another that he looked at porn but its starting to REALLY bother me that he looks at it so much when we havent even had sex since January.
I asked him about it a couple weeks ago and he told me that he was waiting for me to get thru with all my thyroid treatment cause thats when Im going to go get "fixed" cause he doesnt want me to get pregnant again (which I dont want that either) but he also told me that the porn is just a visual and that he is pretty much bored with it. But yet he still continues on with it. I just dont get it.

how about if you take some pics or you two make some videos would he be into watching that instead if it bothers you that he looks at the other stuff? It may get him into the mood to do you more if he remembers how fun it was to do it

Well since my sex life is non-existent I don't have to worry right? Or is it non-existent due to the porn? :confused

I guess it depends on whether its only got you looking at girls in a sexual way. If its got to the point where you can't see their personality and respond to their needs and wants, then its a problem.:)

I think I'm one of the few men alive who dislikes porn. Maybe I shouldn't say that I dislike it...it just dosen't float my boat and yes I'm aware this makes me a freak of nature.
Okay, I admit amateur lesbian porn is pretty hot.

Porn is just as bad as alcohol, tabacco, or marijuana. It undermines society's infrastructure just so people can appease their most basic desires. For most, porn goes from a sexual desire to a psychological one in no time. It ruins thousands of family and spousal relationships each year, no to mention complicating thousands more. There's a reason why church members and conservatives are against porn, its not just because God says so. It can be terrible what psychological damage it can do to individuals, couples, and families.
Porn is as much of a psychological cancer as alcohol, tabacco, or marijuana is.

I hate to take this off topic but I have to respond to EK's post. Porn can satisfie those psychological desires. Since porn has become readily available on the internet the number of violent rapes has greatly reduced. Some people have fantasies and are unable to act them out, but porn gives them an outlet to prevent these fantasies from becoming obsessions. A couple of months ago I was transferring data from an old computer to a new one for a guy who has several physical handicaps. in the process I came across a bunch of bandage porn. Now this guy has never been able to get a woman himself but porn helps him to keep these desires to safe levels.

Very good point. However, how do these desires come about in the first place? I mean, you can't fantasize about bondage without seeing it first. Unusual sexual desires are normally fueled by porn. So as people fume their fantasies on porn, they inadvertently develop an addiction. Things grow from there, and when porn cannot satisfy their needs any longer, terrible things happen.

But that statistic about violent rapes decreasing is pretty interesting. I'm going to look up a source for that. If you have one, please PM me. Thanks.

You have never had original ideas and then realized you where not the only person to have these ideas? You do not have to see a sexual act to fantasize about it, someone had to have the idea in the first place and I imagine it came along way before porn.

Pornography is immoral and depicts sex as a casual act. Sex should only be between two people who are married and love eachother. Anything else is adultery and that is a SIN.

Calm down dude, we respect your beliefs so please respect ours. If by looking at porn I'm not hurting you I don't know what your problem is, I didn't start bashing you about not having sex before marriage so please don't bash people for looking at porn.
