So, I've settled on a nice title, and redid my entire synopsis from scratch.

A girl grows up in a house with a doll very special to her. Eventually though, she starts to go crazy, believing the doll is talking to her. One fateful day, her house is burned down, and years later, they go through the remains, only to find the doll unscathed. Later, the doll isauctioned, and the new owners get freaked out. The doll drives them mad. The new child owner of the puppet starts to lose it, just like the original owner, and the parents begin searching for the original owner. In their search, they unlock deadly secrets behind the doll's past.

Much more of a developed plot outline than my first draft. And if this isn't good news enough, I recently spoke(Or rather messaged) with J. LaRose over Myspace(The man who plays Troy, the Body Chains victim in SAW III), and he said that he thinks this idea is very excellent, and he also gave me some great advice.

Any suggestions, comments, etc?

I haven't gotten that far yet. My main hopes is to have it possesed by a spirit, maybe the devil himself? That would make it similar to Michael Myers, he's possesed by the devil.

Nice. I'm also guessing that the doll is a porcelain doll? Those things scare the shit out of me.

Satan is probably not right to haunt the doll. Research when porcelain dolls were first made & come up with a malevolent spirit from that time. If it's possible you may be able to have Jack The Ripper or some other insane criminal from the late 19th, early 20th century. I just think that you need to keep the spirit in context with the doll.

Well I had never even thought about that, thanks for the great ideas Allan! And yes NicAuf, the idea for this movie came from my friend Savannah, who has a HUGE fear of porcelain dolls. I guess its just the way they stare....and those numerous movies where they kill you(I believe it may have been Poltergeist where the porcelain clown pulls a girl under the bed?).
