Am I the only one kind of disappointed with this Disney joint venture? They're taking an Anime film which has already been released over seas i believe and dubbing it with American voice actors? The reason I believe it's been released over seas is i found alot of japanese language trailers but i only this American one on another site. I think Walt Disney would roll over in his grave.

They did it with Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away and it seem to work out just fine.

Disney brought them to the USA, they were released in Japan/China by Hayao Miyazaki.... and yeah they dubbed over, but they are fantastic movies. I look forward to seeing this one.

Others by Hayao Miyazaki are: Kiki's delivery service, castle in the sky, My neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Howl's Movine Castle, porco rosso, and Spirited Away

i think the only one I've seen is Kiki's Delivery Service. It was TV once.

These films are nothing short of amazing. As far as I understood it, the deal brought these stories under the Disney visor with english translations and distribution, much the same way that VizVideo and the like distributed titles like Bubblegum Crisis and Ranma 1/2.

I've actually seen Howl's Moving Castle Before and hadn't remembered! I remember bits and pieces, I'm watching it right now.
