Im a futsal player but unfortunately the season is almost over, so a teammate ofmine convinced me to sign up for a polefitness course. It's starting on monday. Did anyone try it before? is it really as difficult as they say it is? Let me know!

PS pictures are welcome!

PPS: let me start . This is my instructor.

I've heard it is surprisingly taxing on the body but I'm certain it won't keep you in shape for sports lol. If that is your goal you may want to get into something more practical and particular to futsal.

Oh thanks sixguns, I still swim once or twice a week and have futsal training, just no more matches.

You really think it wont get me in shape? I thought it would be very muscle-building

I'm sure you'll see some positive changes in your body as with any kind of consistent exercise but for building muscle/strength, explosiveness, endurance, etc...not so much. Best to stick with sport-specific training if improvement is your goal, but that's not to say you can't or shouldn't incorporate other types of exercise into your routine. Especially during off season, that's the best time to have some fun. Try it out and see what you think. ;)
