I am not allergic to Poison Ivy - seriously - I'm not.

BUT I am allergic to something in my room apparently. I am covered in a rash!!! very similar to poison ivy. I went to the doctor and she agreed it was not poison ivy because of where the rash is and how intense it is in certain places.

I am miserable.

Physically I feel like I have taken a Benadryl even though I have not because it itches so much it wears me down.

And I forgot my "Cream" at home. So I am sitting in class wanting to itch SO BAD!!!!

I am going crazy. :willy_nilly::willy_nilly:

any suggestions? have you guys ever had this?

I have had it a couple of times

One time I believe some stuff was put in the washer with my clothes

When you get home try an Aveno bath and see if that helps

Both times I got it I had to get some decent prescription cream to get it to go away. Once I did that it got better pretty quickly

I feel your pain kiddo. I am allergic to poison ivy. I used to get it as a kid all the time and it will drive you crazy

the ivy would start out like a misquito bite. Only the blisters had fluid in them. miserable stuff.

it's raised and red and oozing. it's in lines and blotches. Some parts are tough and dried up now that I have been dousing myself in Caladryl.

I have been applying this Rx Cortizone. It's helping, but the Caladryl pink was so attractive.... :)

It's mostly on my stomach and my boob, but a bit on my knee and crease of my elbow. Oh! And some on my forehead OF COURSE.

It is a contact dermititis. Check for anything new like a different detergent. Benadryl orally but use something else topically. Oatmeal baths are good.

you could go to the pharmacy and see if they have anything else they recommend.

I only got relief when I put on some valisone which is prescription though

When I read that I dunno why but Vaseline popped into my head. I'm like... why the hell would anyone need a prescription for Viener Schlider? Then I saw who wrote it. :D ;)

:24: me too! and I would've gone on thinking Vaseline unless you had said something!!!

:willy_nilly::willy_nilly::p

Viener = wiener
Schlider = slippery stuff

Viener Schlider = Grease for the dick. :24:

:eek

no sorry dreamer - no shingles or scabies.

it's cropping up in new places, but is reacting to the cortizone and caladryl. most the old places are healing - they're just dry and itchy now.

the new places are being doused with cream so they don't get worse...

does it make sense that itching all day makes me tired?
