Currently, phones are expensive which is not news. What is news is that Phonebloks might be just the thing that we need. If we want to upgrade our phones or replace broken ones, we need to spend a whole lot for another phone. However, Phonebloks have come up with a solution. You can now assemble your phone like Lego parts to build the ideal phone of your dreams. Bigger camera? No problem, add it on. You can choose the size of the battery, screen, and replace them as you go along.

It's a nice idea, but there are a lot of technical issues that they will have to overcome. For example, switching out components for upgraded versions of the same size wouldn't be a big problem. However, I don't think that changing components around and changing their size will work at all. They'd have to do some pretty creative thinking to come up with and make something that would make this work. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see them try, but I don't have a lot of hope in them actually doing it.

It's quite an interesting plan for sure, and I believe that news has it that it's already being supported by Motorola.

Here is the original video on youtube for those who don't know what this is about:

And here is the "update" with motorola:

Yes I heard of that too and seen that video. It's definitely something that I would give my hope in for. If it was a bad idea than Motorola wouldn't join in and support them. I can't wait for it's release. I don't think it would be anytime soon though
