PETA are a bunch of cunts who are solely responsible for the near extinction of water voles (ratty in wind in the willows) from Britains rivers in the last 20 years. When I moved to Harlow in 1987, they were everywhere, now they are gone because PETA cunts released a load of mink into our rivers which killed them off. PETA are a bunch of stupid, prejudiced, ignorant moron pricks and need to pay for their shit that the've caused to the natural world.:mad:thumbup

Yeah that's what I always think of when I hear about PETA. If they are an organisation that cares so much for animals, then surely they would know that releasing mink would have a terrible effect on our wildlife?I don't agree with fur farms but a bit of common sense wouldn't go a miss!

And the fact they send death threats to animal testing labratories and force them to move abroad, disgusts me. I don't agree for testing products like make up on animals (hey if people want to be vain they can test it on themselves) but testing medicines, which could potentially save lives, is a different story completely.
The UK has very VERY strict laws in place about the use of animals in research and it has been seriousally regulated since 1987?1988? (I can't remember the date but I think it was 1987) and it was recently (in 2004 if I remember rightly) reviewed and tightened even more. Forcing research labs to move to countries where such strict laws are not in place could just cause the animals more harm or cause the medical research to stop completely.

I've never been impressed with Peta. In fact I think they are a little kooky. However I acknowledge that domestic animals numbers must be kept under control so I don't know.

Is this true? This is really shocking. All this time, PETA has been advocating animal rights, but if all those rallying were just a show, then we can expect that more people will lose their trust on the organization
