These people are without a doubt the dumbest of all people. I see them alot at my job so it's nothing new to me but it is fun at times messing with them!
I'll generalize certain groups of these people based on assumed circumstances of age, race, culture, area, and education.
An old man (probably around 65) came up to me as I approached a neighbor's house who wasn't home. Ensuring my job goes as easy and quick as possible I usually tell the person what's going on and everything they need to know from the start. His only comment was "you better not let the dog out of the backyard" with an attitude and looking at me as if I were an asshole. I simply said "I always close the gate and I'm a professional" while looking him in the eyes with confidence. He again reminded me that "Well, you just better not let the dog out or I'll call the cops"...so I replied the same sentence I did before. He then got close to me and repeated what he said again with a few extra threatening words.
I'm no fool, I knew why he was mad. He wanted the last word because he's no smarter than a dog and he was angry I wouldn't let him have the power he thought he was entitled to: treating me like shit because he knew I was working and he thought he could take advantage of an opportunity to look powerful. I knew this but everything on my side was shiny as a dress shoe so he had nothing on me except that he hated me for an unexplained reason, lol.
I told him he needed to go inside and let me do my business before I called the cops. It was beautiful. Anyway, I probably run into something like that 1 out of 20 jobs I go to so it's fun sometimes to get morons rowled up! =D
