All you do is insert the DVD into the disc drive. Go to My Computer, and drag and drop it on the desktop, wait till it's done. (There's like up to 10 GB in one.) There you go! You now have the movie.

**Will not work for Mac**

**BSOD may come up but WILL go away. (If operating on Vista!)

LOL!!! I did this goofing around once! I was thinking about how on a Mac drag and drop doesn't actually copy the contents of a CD to the computer! lol! And how a PC can do that! So I said: "Hey can you do that with a DVD?" It turns out, you can!

It don't actually work like you think. It will work on data DVD's but not regular Movies!!!
First of all to copy a DVD MOVIE to your hard drive you need a software called ripper, like SmartRipper that I use. That software will actually decrypt the DVD because YES the movie dvd's are encrypted, so if one does, like it's mentioned above, they will see the files like on DVD but will not be able to play them because they will be corrupted!!!
DVD ripper will also let you remove the Region coding, if for instance you got a DVD from BlockBusters and want to send it to somebody in europe.

SmartRipper is just an example. There's tons of DVD rippers out there.

Dragging and dropping DVD Movie disc will not create a working copy of the movie!!!!
