The Patriots have flexed their muscles. No team from the NFC can compete and depending on the day, possibly Indy can, but highly doubtful. This will be an easy SuperBowl to predict, I need to get my bet placed in Vegas even though the payout won't be so great...

Your out of your mind Donnie, and every team is beatable, yes, by a better team. I haven't seen one yet this season. If you think Indy is a better team, your fooling yourself. Their defense is weak. NE has showed no weaknesses yet. They play a complete game of football, not just one quarter (where I'm sure everyone thought Dallas had a chance)...

Indy is quite a bit better on defense than they were last year. Freeney has been getting in and putting pressure on QBs.

We lost our main RB, but Addai and the new kid (name escapes me) have been doing extremely well.

Indy is nowhere near 'the same' as they were last year. Sanders should also be back next week, he missed quite a few games last year.

But that doesn't matter - the basic definition of each team still exists, and the fact is that Indy walloped them last year when it mattered; in the playoffs.

NE is totally different on Offense. 3 new receivers, 3 quality receivers. You can't just double cover Moss and be ok. You'll get burned. And Indy's defense has struggled and so has their offense in some games. Their real test is coming up next week against Jax. They always struggle against their own division.

Mark your calendars, New England at Indy Nov. 4. New England could possibly run the table, but late late in the season they'll start resting starters to avoid injuries and stay fresh for the playoffs and thats when a team like Miami will hand them a loss. Who cares if you lose a regular season game late as long as you have home field locked up thru the playoffs?

I sure thought my Cowboys would put up a better show than they did, but you have to hand it to the Pats. They're a great team.

I think Indy's a great team, too. I think they're the only team with a realistic shot to take them down.

On any given Sunday is a GREAT cliche, because it really does apply. The thing that is easy to overlook is that everyone in the NFL can play. They're AAAAAAALLLLL unbelievably talented and special individuals. That's why I laugh when people say, "Can USC beat the Rams?" NO WAY, because the majority of the USC players will never play at the next level, whereas EVERY SINGLE one of the Rams had the talent to play in the NFL.

But the Pats and Indy are like the Cowboys and 49ers back in the 90's - just head and shoulders above the rest of the league. Lightning in a bottle. Indy better be glad it's at home. On a neutral field or at Foxborough, I'd hand it on paper to the Pats. I'm just glad they don't play 'em on paper!
