Well, I'm not sure if this should go into the forum How-To's but I'm sure it shouldn't cause the Forum How-To's is only for how to use this website.
Here is a quick How-To paper on how to use "Parent Directory"
1: Go to any search engine! Google (is best)
2: Type in:
Parent Directory SUBJECT .FILE
3: Replace:
SUBJECT with the subject/item/thing you are looking for (ex: fish)
.FILE with the type of file you want (ex: .wmv)
4: Now it should look something like this:
Parent Directory Fish.wmv or Parent Directory Fish wmv
(THE SUBJECT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE CAPITALIZED)
5: Now click ENTER/SEARCH AND LOOK FOR WEBSITES THAT START WITH:
Index of/
THESE WEBSITES ARE DIRECTORIES OF THE ACTUAL WEBSITE NAME!
(ex: Index of /Misc/Video )
THE Index of/ DOESN'T NEED TO HAVE THE ACTUAL SUBJECT WORD IN IT, BUT IT WILL IN SOME WAY HAVE A FILE RELATED TO THE SUBJECT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.
GOOD LUCK! IF YOU NEED EXTRA HELP I'LL LOOK FOR THE SUBJECT FOR YOU!
