I saw the trailer for this ahead of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I absolutely cannot believe that of all the angles in the world to explain what is haunting the sisters they went with this. It might as well have been Casper or the Ghost of Christmas Past. I'm not gonna reveal what it is, just watch the trailer.

I really enjoyed the first two, but this looks like B-horror. probably should've stopped after the the second one, gonna do the same thing to these movies as they did with the Saw series.

I don't understand the hatred for Paranormal Activity. It was a genuinely creepy movie. No masterpiece, but good fun.

I agree. The first was a damned good and effective scary movie. The 2nd was ok. My problem is what I see in this trailer for this very rushed 3rd movie.

Can't hear this clip at work, but I must say, count me in as a Paranormal Activity hater. I wanted to love that movie, wanted to be creeped out, I was allll in, but it sucked to me. Only saw the first one.

Not scary in the least, I'm not sure why. Did make me pretty ill, though, with the camera effects.

My wife dragged me to a late night showing of this the day after it opened. I'd say 80% of the scenes in that trailer I posted in the OP are not in the final cut of the movie. Probably a good thing. It had some decent scares but it has come full circle and run its course. Time to let it go.

I agree on both. The packed theater filled with over-reacting teens pissing themselves was great. Better than the movie itself. And the last 15 was cool.
