I'm not normally one for sequels because honestly, they're normally rubbish compared to the original. It's like people get complacent and say 'the first one was such a hit, let's move our awesome writers onto something more deserving and give the script to our team of literate monkeys'.

But I was really impressed by how they tied the story of the second one into the first one! It became obvious that they were connected fairly early on, but the full extent of it - I won't give too much away in case anyone wants to see it - was just awesome.

Still spooky as fuck but I felt like they could have used fewer CCTV shots that went front door-pool-kitchen-lounge-hallway every single night.

Has anyone else seen it?!

I facepalmed when I heard the sequel was being made though it was no surprise. No movie can make that kind of money on a shoestring budget and not get a sequel. Like you I was impressed with how they tied it to the first. I don't think it was nearly as creepy as the first though.

I think there wasn't as much creepy stuff going on before the climax. The first one had more build-up with things actually happening, this one felt like a lot of it was linking in to the first one and how it got started

Still scared me though! When the mum goes all weird... that was horrible.

The first one was spooky to me, the second not so much. The hoof foot prints in the powder on the floor, the loud noises in the night...really well done.

I found myself constantly looking in the doorways for shadows like in the first one :ninja

i didnt want to watch the 2nd one for the longest time because of how freaked out i was about the 1st one. then i decided to watch it one day. SUCKED. MONKEY.DICK!! not impressed with it at.all!

The second was actually scarier for me than the first. Of course, that could be because I saw the second one in the theater.

But I'm a fan. They freaked me out. :eek
