These are the main reason I went and it made the entire day worthwhile. I'm thinking some of these are the best aircraft shots I have in my vault and to see them printed is something else. They are so sharp it would make your eyes bleed. :thumbup ( I've taken some of that away due to folks that like to save 'em :D )

Anywhoo the one with the red paint is a 1945 North American P-51D ( my personal favorite ). If you look close you'll notice the bubble canopy. The black & white is a 1943 North American P-51-B. Notice the razorback behind the canopy. The P-47 just happened to be tagging along.

These guy's weren't wasting any time either.....

Nice planes. What's the blue and yellow one that's not your main focus in the one Melissa likes?

Do you mean the one in the bottom right corner that isn't flying? It's a AT-6 aka " Harvard " in Canada and " T-6 Texan " in the USA. It was used as an advanced trainer , hence the AT designation. From that aircraft the pilots went to higher performing stuff. I've posted shots of them before but in case you missed 'em here's one I took in 2007 doing a high speed pass.

P-51's have always been my favorite warbird and that will never change. I'm glad you liked my shots. Thanks a lot.
