INDIANAPOLIS - The Marion County Health Department says more than 160 people have claimed they became ill after eating at an Olive Garden restaurant in Indianapolis last weekend.
A health department spokesman says they're trying to isolate the cause and have found no health code violations at the restaurant on the city's north side. Health officials are collecting leftover food and stool samples from those who were stricken in an effort to pinpoint the source of the illness.
A spokesman for Olive Garden was not immediately available for comment.

I LOVE Olive Garden! I could live off their salad and breadsticks!

I feel the same, I use to go there every once in awhile with friends. I love that lemon cake that they have there, it's so freakin good!

they no longer serve lemon creme cake. too bad too. I worked there for a few years, good company to work for, but in any restaurant you have to worry about safety concerns like this. My fav there is there spinach art. dip!

So lets see, first it was e coli in the spinach, then e coli in Taco Bell, now it's bad food from Olive Garden...sounds like one of the 4 horsemen is loose somewhere.

Getting 'food poisoning' and ecoli are two different things.

First it was lettuce, then it was spinach, then it was Taco Bells across the eastern seaboard, and now an Olive garden on the North side of Indy had some bad (badly prepared?) food.

btw... the Olive Garden here in Ft Wayne... disgusting kitchen. Disgusting.
