That is a pano of the back yard. A lousy one.

Our property ends at the creek. Across the creek is a common park area the subdivision owns.

If I get a chance one day I will take a pic of how high the water comes up. In the back yard the ground is level for about 10' out from the house and then from there to the creek which is about 40' or so it drops of and the creek is a good 6'-8' lower. The water comes up almost a third of the way up the hill when there is a huge rain.

As to snow .......... oh yeah we get snow. I live in the suburbs of Detroit. I did not take any pics but there was over a foot of snow on the ground a couple of times. Weather is such now a days that we can get a bit of snow and then it will melt. Years ago that never was the case.

The Detroit River divides Detroit in the US from Windsor which is in Canada.

That weekend they were having the Red Bull Air Races so the boat was out on patrol.

That is part of a nature trail in one of the few heavily wooded areas nearby. The walk is probably about 1 1/2 miles to do the complete circuit. Not a whole lot of wild life though for some reason. There are deer but I have only come across one. At the time my camera was brand new and I could not get it to focus so the picture was crap. It is ok for to the dog to let loose for a good portion of it. She loves it. Everyone in a while she takes off like a bat out of hell after something.
