yeah go WINGS!!!

prolly will win it again... improved goal tending in my opinion, and with the addition to Hossa, basically the team who dominated last year, will be yet ever better this year

Depends, if they can still play their system perfectly then they'll do well this season, their division is still weak in the Western division but the new schedule should help just a bit with that, if they do win the President's trophy again, I'll just get sick to my stomach since it's BOOORRRRIIINNGGGGG and it sucks to see the same thing happen every year, damn wings. <_<

Anyway I hate them since they're too good. :D

it's ok....
I could only hope the Bruins get back to their better days.....it's been too long
I was a big Bruin fan back when Orr played

Not sure how old you are but if you are old enough those were some great teams

I will never forget the donneybrook with Toronto

too bad

those were great teams and a great era

about 15 years ago i was in Boston on business trip and we went to dinner and Orr was there. Just a little hole in the wall small place. ended up getting his autograph which I still have. what a class act and probably the greatest player ever. too bad you missed seeing him. there was no other player who could take a puck at his goal line and end up with a break away.

but those garbage goals only got the B's 2 Championships....
that is what is so pathetic....they could have had a dynasty that could have rivaled the Canadiens

I would disagree on that one

The Canadiens were loaded with talent. If I remember correctly they had an advantage that they had first rights to the French Juniors at the time. Maybe Lumpenstein could elaborate. anyway they were very talented. the Bruins did well to get what they did. and remember that Orr was hurt a lot. amazing that he was done by the age of 28

I don't disagree.....the Bruins did have some depth...Hodge, Espo, Sanderson....Doak, Cashman...and goaltending was not that bad...the Habs had Dryden and he was just a vacuum............yes, the Habs did have very serious strong scoring punches....

Anyone else scratching their heads over Hossa though? Even as a Wings fan, you have to admit that was a puzzling move. He gave up the opportunity to have a 7 year deal witha team that most definitely in that span will take home a cup or two for just one year with the Wings. I have much respect for the Wings (despite that last loss we had to you guys when you won the cup - yep, I'm a Pens fan) they are a damn good team...but what the hell was he thinking?
