Ouch!!! When my little brother was 3 or 4 he got ahold of a screwdriver my dad was using and went running down the hallway. He tripped over a tear in the carpet and the screwdriver went into his eye socket. Somehow it curved around and exited below his eyeball, missing all the nerves and stuff. He was VERY lucky.

Holy hell... we had a girl trip into the coat closet in grade school and one of the hooks went in kinda like that. Everything turned out fine though!

reminds me of one of the stories on "stories of the ER" where a guy fell off a ladder onto a tree branch. went UP HIS ASS all the way to his ribcage. MISSED EVERYTHING!! the branch was a good 6inches in diameter! the only injury he had was to his anus! CRAZY!!
