Do you use any free office alternatives? I don't want to spend the money to purchase a subscription to Microsoft Office, so I prefer to use Open Office. It does everything that Microsoft Office does, plus in this day and age you can't beat free. :p I'm not sure what other alternatives exist, so if you know of any other ones feel free to list them in this thread. :)

At work I am provided with Microsoft Office so if possible I tend to just write documents at work. If that is not an option, then I just use Google Drive's suite of apps given that I do not exactly need all the fancy functionality that Office has.

Frankly speaking, I have always used Microsoft Office, I have tried Open Office as well as Google Doc but I do most of my work on MS Office.
