There are multiple ways to get an online education, you can either choose university accredited degree or diploma and certification courses.

While online learning is excellent for skill-building, short-term programs like diplomas or certifications are often more effective for career advancement. Focus on real-world skills over formal credentials for better opportunities.

Choosing between a degree and a diploma/certification depends on your goals. If you want deep knowledge or career advancement in a formal field, a degree helps. For quick skills or job shifts, certifications are faster and more affordable.

If you're aiming for long-term academic growth or roles that require formal qualifications, an online degree offers depth and recognition. However, if you're looking to upskill quickly, change careers, or boost specific job-related expertise, certifications or diplomas are faster and more cost-effective. I think both paths are valid, it really comes down to time, budget, and the field you're entering.

If I want to get any certificate from the online space, I would rather get tech specialized certifications rather than a university degree. Those tech certification programs impart real skills that can be used to earn practically online. And tech companies are in demand of it.

Yes I go for Real-world skills, as they are crucial for navigating daily life and achieving success in various settings. These skills encompass a wide range of abilities, including problem-solving, communication, and adaptability

Actually a lot of degree courses also offer tech program. Diplomas are usually short, 6-10 weeks but degree courses are 1-2 years and these courses will give you depth knowledge on the subject you are enrolled for.
