No wonder my butt is dragging today. Amish guy came to cut wood yesterday and his boy and I split it. For a little fella he worked pretty hard and I did more than I am supposed to. Still have a second load to do but a lot of it won't need split.[/IMG]

Oh, we never lack for heat. However the bulk of it goes to heat the greenhouses and keep the posies warm.

Yep! It is a 20ton with a 7hp Briggs. I changed it to electronic ignition and it starts on the first or second pull. Have had it since 1982.

Actually it is a 500,000 BTU Central wood boiler. It heat the house, the hot water and the greenhouses as well as snow melt in the porch. I don't shovel much snow at all and clear almost all of it with the skid steer and pickup. You can have it 90 in the house if you are willing to throw the wood to it. The greenhouses have their own thermostat controlled heat so we can grow stuff year round.

Got a good start on stacking and will do some more after a bite to eat. Sure miss the Amish boys who moved away as they would have been done and it would all have been stacked as we went. Of course I did a lot for them also. Was a good friendship and worked well for both of us.
